April Lockhart

April Lockhart (born July 4 in 1995) started her musical journey as a 7th grader when she took piano and guitar classes. April Lockhart composed her first track, Different at the age 12 years old. At 14 April, she spent a lot of time writing lyrics and perfecting her musicianship skills. Then, she began taking trips to NY and LA together with her father to help them to write songs. April featured other topics in her hit song, Take my Hand. These topics were for friends that dealt with issues such as peer pressure disabilities or even teen suicidal thoughts. Lockhart has become a sought-after lifestyle influencer, as well as working in partnerships with brands that are clean and healthy like Ilia she has gained an impressive fan base. Since she was born without a left hand, she is a major part of herself. But it's not her entire story. Lockhart's profile on Twitter doesn't conceal her status as disabled and does not make a point of it. The message? We all have multiple aspects of identities and that we're much greater than the physical person we are. Lockhart states in the video Lockhart via video "I do not believe that disability will define me. It's not my intention to have an impact on disability, because I've many more things to contribute." It doesn't impact my day-to-day living. I do the things I normally would and have adapted to the limitations of my disability. It's an integral aspect of my existence, therefore it's important that we talk about the subject. Lockhart, a real motivation for self-acceptance generally and is currently on a lengthy journey to achieve it. Lockhart admits to having been through a few phases with her physique, feeling uncomfortable in certain situations wearing outfits that showcased the arms of her. She is able to wear anything she likes, and happily shares pictures of her dressed in her favorite outfits. It's a journey is the key thing I'm not certain that it will be an end of self-love. However, I believe that's the case with everyone with whatever the source of their anxiety. I think that having people with you who understand you and can see your feelings is crucial because they'll be the people who will remind you what you concerned about?
